Discusses 101 significant contributions made by African Americans over the past 300 years. From milestones in the struggle for freedom to the cure for motion sickness to jazz, children will learn that African Americans have changed our nation for the better in many important ways. With fun activities and a glossary for new words. 16 pages. For grades 3-6.
When we reviewed the 101 African-American Achievements That Shaped America Educational Activities Book, our students in the Taunton Adult Basic Education Program were 'blown away' as to the impact that African-Americans had on the growth and development of this country. Additionally, we took the time to fill-in the gaps within American History (the way it is taught in our schools). We leveraged the activities and exercises in the book to prompt research tasks to find out more on each person presented in the book. Thank you for an excellent visual resource on Black History and African American contributions. I strongly recommend this resource be used in all learning environments for all age groups.
Overall Really Good!

The items I received from Positive promotion were very good quality. Most items arrived on time! The items I ordered from my first order came a little later than the rest so I couldn't package everything together but everyone was happy with what they received.
SUGGESTION FOR ADDITIONAL INFO.
