Insert new thrills into Customer Service Week by creating your own version of Fear Factor. Plan several timed events. Whoever finishes the first challenge in time moves on to the second, and so forth. Start simple by giving each contestant a set amount of gummy worms to eat. For the next activity, arrange an obstacle course with waste baskets to jump over, stacks of folders to weave in and out of, and telephone cords to limbo under. Throughout the obstacle course have paper flags which must be grabbed. For another activity, use a blender to make slime out of green fruit and vegetables. Have participants dig in bowls of this slime for keys that unlock filing cabinets which contain whistles. They must blow the whistles before time runs out. Thank everyone for playing Fear Factor by passing out Doing Our Best With Every Request Translucent Water Bottles. Help your reps turn their backs on stress during Customer Service Week. Offer them an array of desserts, because stressed spelled backwards is desserts. The Sunday night before Monday of Customer Service Week, tape a lottery ticket to the underside of each keyboard in your department. The next day send out an email instructing your reps to flip over their keyboards for something special. Thursday night of Customer Service Week, hide a Squish Pen and a Customer Service Appreciation Snack Pack in each employee's work area. Friday send out an email telling everyone to search for gifts.
