My kids loved this book!! And I did too!! They could write on the pages and color too... Healthy foods that were big enough to tell what they were, real pages that held the color, and didn't smear. Finally a healthy book I feel GREAT about giving my kids.. NO MORE "I" is for ice cream..Thank you!! Now to convince Schools to use. Common core objectives are right there it should be easy RIGHT?

THis education piece will be useful in our WIC clinics. It will help us to excite children and their parents to include fruits and veggies in the diet.

Love this book! We bring it with us to the store each week and find the fruit and vegetable that goes with each letter. The lesson plan is very helpful giving every lesson purpose and reinforces several common core objectives. Great teaching tool!

Common Core Activities

Love the common core lesson plan! Easy to read covers 7 standards that my student needs to know in Kindergarten! Parent letter on the back cover is very useful! The idea for having my child choose a new fruit or veggie each time we go to the store works so well! They now get a fruit or veggie for being good in the store instead of a candy bar, and they love it!
