SOLUTION

A medical center on the East Coast wanted to thank its nurses at a special event, but due to busy schedules it was hard for all of the nurses to attend the celebration. Instead, the coordinator of National Nurses Week events took the time to individually pass out Positive Promotions’ products to nurses who were tied up with patients. This method of gift delivery allowed nurses to continue caring for their patients and receive recognition at the same time, the coordinator said.

A senior rehabilitation center in the Midwest handed out a raffle ticket to a CNA whenever he or she was caught being awesome. At the end of the week, a raffle was held where CNAs had a chance to win nice prizes, such as movie tickets and waterpark passes. For those who did not win raffle prizes, the center handed out Positive Promotions’ “We Don't Do Average, We Do Awesome” Socks, which the CNAs loved, a representative from the facility said.

A nursing rehab center in the South decided to hold a different activity each day of National Nurses Week to show appreciation for what its nursing staff does throughout the year. The week’s activities started out small, with events such as a luncheon and “Healthy Snack Day,” and culminated with a carnival.
