for long periods, like many of the residents of The Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation
Center, are in danger of developing pressure ulcers and urinary tract infections
(UTIs). A treatment nurse at The Pines wanted to promote better hydration
and skin care and decrease the rate of UTIs among residents. Incentives
were needed to recognize the hard work of Certified Nursing Assistants
and motivate them to increase their efforts in preventing these conditions.
Solution: A number of products from

blood pressure was high, which prompted them to seek medical attention.
