Products with Antimicrobial or Antibacterial additives contain an EPA registered agent that protects the product itself (not the user) by suppressing the growth of harmful algae, mold, mildew and bacteria which cause unpleasant odors, discoloration, staining and product degradation. These additives will not wash off or wear away.
