Solution: Employees at a public library set up a display during October, which featured breast cancer facts and posters, as well as books
about breast health. Women patrons were given Women’s “In The Shower” Guide To Breast Self-Exam Punch-Out Reminder Shower Cards. The Shower Cards were also

Challenge: Celebrate breast cancer survivors in the community.
Solution: Each year on the first Saturday in October, an organization holds a Breast Cancer Survivor Brunch complete with food, games, and giveaways.

Positive Promotions are distributed to attendees in gift bags.

focus on their breast health.

them know that they’re not alone.

Challenge: Educate others about breast cancer using personal stories.
Solution: A woman who resides at a senior citizens’ apartment building held an event to help her neighbors learn more about breast cancer. She invited residents
