Challlenge: Make getting a mammogram as relaxing as possible
Solution: Knowing that getting mammograms can be a bit nerve-racking, one organization held a “Mammos and Massages” event.
Quick chair massages were offered to those who received their important annual screening. Additionally, patients were given self-care items,
such as Lip Balms, Manicure Sets, and Breast Self-Exam Shower Cards from Positive Promotions.

Challlenge: Include more breast cancer awareness items in the hospital gift shop
Solution: The manager of a hospital gift shop placed a bulk order of
Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirts from Positive Promotions
to sell in the shop. The T-Shirts were imprinted with the hospital’s name and logo. Employees, patients and their family members, and breast
cancer survivors all loved the T-Shirts, the gift shop manager said. And those who bought a T-Shirt even got an extra little gift, either a Pen or a Sticker, the manager added.

Challlenge: Encourage women to stay on schedule with mammograms
Solution: One organization distributed Women’s Monthly Planners to all female employees, as well as to those within its sister
companies. A letter was included with each Planner to remind the recipient to get her annual mammogram. If those who received the Planners were
too young to start the life-saving screening, they were encouraged to educate their friends and family members about breast health. The Planners
and the information about mammograms were greatly appreciated by all who received them, a representative from the organization said.

Challlenge: Acquire gifts and handouts for a breast cancer awareness event at church
Solution: For its annual “Pink Sunday” church service, one church makes it a point to educate all church members about breast cancer.

Breast cancer awareness items that were distributed to congregation members included Pink Ribbon Appliques,
LED Flashlight Key Tags, and Umbrellas.

Challlenge: Find a quick, easy way to raise awareness among hundreds of people

to employees and encouraged each person to pick a breast cancer awareness item from the Kit. A total of 855 employees received items and all who participated
enjoyed it, a representative from the company said.

Challlenge: Raise breast cancer awareness within a church congregation
Solution: Each year, one church holds a special event to encourage members of its congregation to take good care of their health. This
observance includes educating people about breast cancer. Health statistics are shared, including the number of men who get breast cancer; people share
their stories of dealing with or surviving cancer; and everyone wears pink, including the pastor. As part of this important event, products from Positive
Promotions are set out in a basket for people to take.
