Positive Promotions masks come in six different fabrics. More information on each fabric is listed below.
Cotton is one of the best fabric filters and a more economical option. It's extremely breathable and comfortable. It washes well, but note that it does shrink if placed in a dryer. Cotton is also an ideal fabric for a heat transfer or screen printing if you’re adding personalization.
Polyester is perfect for creating a full-color design over the entire mask surface, with no color limitations. Polyester also has minimal shrinking.
All the benefits of both fabrics in one mask. The outer mask is polyester so it can take a full-color design. The inside mask, facing the mouth and nose, is cotton so it feels softer and filters more particles.
Spandex added to cotton and/or polyester adds flexibility and lets the mask conform better to any face shape. It is a higher-cost option but the extra comfort is worth it.
Canvas is the best fabric in terms of filtering particles. This durable cloth blocks disease-spreading germs while still being breathable enough for consistent wear.
Nylon masks are soft, breathable, and super stretchable, allowing them to conform to any face shape. The silky feel is similar to bathing suit fabric.
For every fabric choice, the higher the ply, the better the level of filtration.
For example, a 4-ply cotton mask will filter out more particles than a 2-ply cotton mask.
We offer masks with five different ways of attaching to the ears.
Ear loops are made from the same fabric as the rest of the mask, and is the most comfortable.
Ear loops have a special “toggle” that allows users to adjust how tight or loose the mask is. This is a good feature when ordering for a group of people with different face shapes, and is comfortable for all-day wear.
Ear loops stretch to accommodate different face shapes and sizes. Because cloth covers the elastic strap, it’s more comfortable than bare elastic.
Have built-in earholes on each side to accommodate different head sizes, and are the most economical choice.
Have a strip of self-fabric on each side that can be tied together to secure the mask.
We have a wide selection of American-made masks if that is a feature you are looking for.
Antimicrobial fabric inhibits growth of bacteria and fungi, keeping it cleaner than untreated fabric. Note: antimicrobial does not mean anti-virus, and the antimicrobial treatment lasts for 25 washes.
